Sony Action Camera Test Footage

Here are a couple of short videos that are tests of a new Sony AS10V Action Cam...yep finally got one of these because it was cheaper than a GoPro, but I'm not yet convinced I made the right choice....just simply because of the accessories that are available for the GoPro.... I'll give it a whirl though, and use it in some of my adventure videos for sure.

If anybody wants to send me a GoPro Hero 3 to check out...I'd be glad to work it over!

Here are those quick shorts with the Action Cam that were shot on a recent walk:

Also, I took advantage of the free download of the GoPro Studio software from GoPro....the main reason was that it gives me a quick and easy way to process some time-lapse footage.....which you can do with jpegs from any old camera that shoots a time lapse sequence, such as my Nikon D700...still coming up with some ideas for that one.

The clips above were edited in the GoPro software. I added some vignetting to the corners and took advantage of one of the toning presets called "1970's"  It looks pretty interesting.

Stay tuned for more adventures to be documented with these new tools in my tool box!

Here is one more late addition to the test footage:
